D C Logistics was established in Western Australia in 1997 as a management consultancy specialising in logistics strategy and project management.

John Holmes, principal of the firm, has a wealth of experience in operational management at an executive level, project management and consulting. Prior to establishing D C Logistics, John held senior positions with Peters & Brownes Group, FAL (now Metcash) and earlier with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. John has a bachelor of business degree, is a qualified accountant, and is past vice president of the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (WA).

During his career, John Holmes has project managed the establishment of 11 distribution centres, a 4,000m2 office complex and a  factory refurbishment. Four of the distribution centres involved high levels of automation with state-of-the-art computer controlled conveyor systems.

D C Logistics has also conducted many dozens of logistics consulting assignments covering a wide spectrum, in particular operational reviews of warehousing and distribution functions and facilities.

D C Logistics has a network of associates and can put teams together to ensure the right skills are applied to every project.
